Thoughtfully Designed

Intentionally Different

After more than a decade of teaching secondary English, I noticed the same pattern year after year.

Many students weren't struggling because they lacked ability. They were struggling because they lacked confidence, clear learning strategies, and strong foundations.

The Study Nook was created to change that.

Rather than focusing solely on marks, I wanted to create thoughtfully designed learning experiences that help students become confident, capable and independent learners. Every lesson is intentionally designed to strengthen English skills while building confidence that extends far beyond the classroom.

Meet the teacher behind The Study Nook

Hi, I'm Antonina.

I'm an experienced secondary English teacher with more than a decade of classroom experience, specialising in supporting students across Years 7–12. Throughout my career, I've designed curriculum, assessed student learning, and worked with young people of diverse abilities, helping them build the confidence, knowledge, and skills they need to succeed in English.

After years in the classroom, I noticed the same challenge emerging time and time again. Many students weren't struggling because they lacked ability, they were struggling because they lacked confidence, clear learning strategies, and strong foundations.

The Study Nook was created to change that.

It brings together everything I've learnt as a classroom teacher into thoughtfully designed learning experiences that support students, empower parents, and prepare young people to become confident, capable, and independent learners.

Every program is grounded in real classroom practice, educational research, and a genuine belief that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Our Philosophy
